**Job Description:**

- Work in a Heart and Vascular Institute specializing in varying levels of care, including ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg for cardiac and vascular patients.
- Manage post-operative recovery and post-procedure patients from the catheterization lab.
- Handle cardiac and vascular-related diagnoses, including CHF and stroke patients.
- Skilled in using Impella, balloon pumps, ventilators, BIPAP, CPAP, and administer various cardiac medications such as amiodarone, nitroglycerin, nicardipine, epinephrine, and diltiazem.
- Perform effectively with a patient ratio of 1:2 for ICU, 1:4 for PCU, and 1:5 for Med-Surg, depending on acuity.
- Participate in a cyclic staff scheduling system.
- Wear professional navy scrubs during shifts.
- Complete an open-book exam on skills learned during orientation; must achieve a 90% score to pass.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred, but not mandatory.
- Work collaboratively in a flexible environment as per scheduler arrangements.
- Pass a skills assessment exam during orientation.
