**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:**
- ICU experience required; CVICU experience preferred
- Open book exam on skills learned during orientation with a required passing score of 90%
- EKG exam required

**Job Description:**

- Work in a unit focused on cardiac and vascular patient populations, including post-op and post-procedure care
- Care for varying levels of patients including ICU, PCU, and Med Surg
- Manage care for cardiac and vascular-related diagnoses, including CHF
- Use and manage devices like Impella, balloon pump, ventilators, BIPAP, and CPAP
- Administer multiple cardiac medications for blood pressure management such as amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem
- Participate in a cyclic staff scheduling model and wear navy scrubs
- No block scheduling; flexibility required for travel positions
- Care assignments vary based on acuity: 1:2 for ICU, 1:4 for PCU, 1:5 for Med Surg
