**Must-Have:** Proficiency in telemetry and experience with EPIC EMR; Competency in using Alaris IV Pumps

**Job Description:**

- Provide high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Manage a patient load with an RN ratio of 1:4 for both day and night shifts.
- Utilize PCA pumps for pain management and administer medications such as cardizem and insulin.
- Perform hourly rounding with a focus on patient experience and responsiveness.
- Collaborate efficiently with a multidisciplinary team including nursing assistants, charge nurses, educators, care managers, social workers, dieticians, and therapists.
- Employ specialty equipment like mechanical lifts available in every other room.
- Handle common patient diagnoses including CVA, TIA, shortness of breath, COVID, subdural hematoma, and weakness.
- Demonstrate ability to float to Medical-Surgical areas depending on the unit's needs.
- Engage in self-scheduling and cyclic scheduling with weekend shifts required at least every third weekend.
- Contribute to a tight-knit unit culture with strong teamwork and support.
