**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:** Ability to read and interpret tele/monitor systems

**Job Description:**

- Work on a 28-bed unit with a staff-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
- Attend to mixed medical/surgical, cardiac, and stroke patients.
- Manage and titrate drips such as Heparin, Octreotide, and Insulin, and administer maintenance dosages of IV medications.
- Collaborate with a charge nurse on each shift; the charge nurse may also take patient assignments.
- Benefit from support by nurse aides/patient care techs with a ratio of 1:14.
- Utilize specialized equipment like Code Carts, LUCAS Machines, Hoyer lift, and Sit and Stand.
- Participate in a rotating schedule with weekend and holiday requirements.
- Participate in floating assignments to Med/Surg, ICU, ED, and other appropriate areas based on skillset.
- Follow the dress code by wearing navy blue scrubs.
- Undergo an initial orientation week with classroom sessions followed by two 12-hour shifts.
- Expect a high-paced work environment with frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges. A positive attitude and teamwork ethos are crucial.
- Charting responsibilities involve using the EPIC system.
