**Job Description:**

- Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with 35 beds.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-5.
- Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, strokes, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring.
- Titrate drips such as Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications.
- Collaborate with a charge nurse available every shift.
- Work with nurse aids/patient care techs, maintaining a 1:10 or 2:20 ratio.
- Shifts are scheduled from 0630-1900 and 1830-0700.
- Participate in a cyclic rotation for weekend and holiday shifts, required every third occurrence.
- Possibility of floating to medical floors, ICU, or rehabilitation units.
- Orientation includes the first week of onboarding followed by 1-2 days of floor-specific orientation.
- Work efficiently on a fast-paced floor with the ability to assist others and handle challenges effectively.
