**Job Description:**

- Care for patients in an Intermediate Care Unit with a focus on cardiac/telemetry needs.
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, providing step-down level care for conditions such as post-cardiac surgery, CHF, AFIB, and more.
- Utilize bedside monitors, remote telemetry, and the Meditech Expanse EMR system.
- Float to areas including IVCU, Medical, Surgical, ICU, and ED holds, ensuring all patients receive competent care.
- Collaborate with a team consisting of day shift staff including 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 3 LNAs, and 1 Unit Coordinator.
- Work weekends with a rotation of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
- Participate in a supportive team environment with an emphasis on positivity, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Perform care for post-operative CABG, post PCI, post pacemaker, and cardioversions.
- Follow unit guidelines and policies, including those related to IV medications.
- Dress in clean and professional scrubs without specific color requirements.
