- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for PCU/Tele RNs
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation
- IV starts
- Blood product administration
- CIWA, drain/tube management
- Catheter insertion/management
- Insulin drip management
**Job Description:**
- Work in a 56-bed unit with patient-to-nurse ratios of PCU/Tele 1:4 and Med/Surg 1:5 for both day and night shifts.
- Manage care for a diverse group of adult patients with diagnoses such as CHF, ARF, hepatitis, ESLD, DM, DKA, pneumonia, and more.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team, including working alongside CNAs and LPNs, adhering to team nursing practices.
- Perform thorough physical assessments, and demonstrate strong clinical judgment and professional bedside manner.
- Participate in a supportive unit with 24/7 available resources including phlebotomy, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, and a violent incident response team.
- Utilize Epic for charting and communicate with providers through secure methods.
- Be adaptable and positive, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Complete required orientation with online, in-class education, and preceptor shifts.
- Commit to weekend and holiday schedule expectations, ensuring compliance with audit requirements for patient care.
- Collaborate with a central Tele Monitoring system for tele reading and alarm notifications.
