**Must-Have:** Epic experience for first-time travelers

**Job Description:**

- Work in a 16-bed inpatient unit with a mixed-acuity patient population, including Intermediate Care, Telemetry, and MedSurg.
- Care for oncology patients, including those with new diagnoses, surgical cases, and oncology complications.
- Provide care for medical overflow patients and those receiving prolonged chemotherapy infusions.
- Manage Intermediate level of care with telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Administer titratable vasoactive drips and manage chest ports.
- Support provided by CNA (1:8 ratio), Charge Nurse, Phlebotomy, Clinical Resource Nurse, RT, and Hospitalist.
- Use Epic charting system, Alaris, and Omnicell equipment.
- Potentially float to any adult inpatient unit, including Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, and Heart and Vascular Unit.
- Participate in every other weekend rotation, available to work holidays during the contract.
- Blue scrubs required.
- Must maintain compliance with monthly Pre/Post pain scoring audits, achieving 90% compliance.

**Additional Information:**

- Orientation includes facility traveler orientation, online education, and 2 shifts with a preceptor.
- Up to 1.5 weeks off can be approved with contract extension; no time off during the first 3 weeks of August annually.
