**Description:**
Join our Progressive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse where you'll manage adult patients with a variety of diagnoses including CHF, ARF, hepatitis, ESLD, DM, DKA, pneumonia, sepsis, GI bleed, syncope, chest pain, pulmonary emboli, respiratory failure, COPD, arrhythmias, seizure disorders, overdose, and delirium tremors. The patient ratio is 1:4 for PCU/Tele and 1:5 for Med/Surg. You must be comfortable working alongside an LPN in a team nursing model, with both roles taking their own patient loads and possible task swapping. Support is provided by CNAs and charge nurses, ensuring a collaborative and positive working environment. The charting system is Epic, and floating to other adult inpatient units may be required based on experience. An adaptable and positive attitude, effective communication, and strong clinical judgment are essential in this role.
