**Job Description:**

- Provide nursing care in a surgical PCU unit with a current patient ratio of 1:5, with a goal of 1:4.
- Expectation to float within the acuity as needed.
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront.
- Requirement to work two out of three major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's.
- Compliance documents are due by Wednesday prior to the start date.
- Candidates residing within 50 to 100 miles of the facility may have specific rules regarding eligibility.
- Return travelers should have a minimum gap of one year since previous employment as a per diem or permanent staff.
- Orientation includes 24 hours of non-billable training covering modules for system and specialty knowledge, with up to 5.5 hours specifically allocated for orientation modules and 2 hours for Epic training for inpatient roles.
- Modules can be completed either before or during the orientation and are recorded by facility report. Payment for these is typically included in the 2nd or 3rd paycheck and processed bi-weekly.
