**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Medical Step Down/Pulmonary Unit

**Experience:** Experience in invasive monitoring and working with ventilators preferred.

**License:** Valid Registered Nurse license

**Certifications:** AHA BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certifications required

**Must-Have:** Must be willing to float to other units as needed

**Job Description:**

- Work in a Medical Step Down/Pulmonary Unit.
- Manage invasive monitoring and provide care for new/rescue/continuous non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV).
- Handle new tracheostomies and manage patients on ventilators with endotracheal tubes.
- Operate transvenous pacing.
- Expected to work every other weekend and holiday.
- The facility reserves the right to call off up to three shifts for a 13-week contract and two shifts for contracts less than 13 weeks.
- Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.
