**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Neuro Progressive

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** Nights 12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:15 AM (12 Hour Nights)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** 2+ years of experience required; Neuro PCU experience required; recent traveler experience highly preferred.

**License:** Michigan State License

**Certifications:**
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- NIHSS

**Must-Have:**
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
- Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates within a 50-mile radius for one 13-week contract)

**Job Description:**

- Progressive care nurses are registered nurses skilled in assessing and treating acutely ill patients.
- Monitor critical vital signs, detect changes, and perform necessary interventions.
- Provide care to patients who do not require treatment in Intensive Care Units but whose conditions need constant observation and monitoring.
- On-call as needed.
- Work every other weekend and on holidays as required.
