**Job Title:** Travel Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-Hour Night Shift

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required

**License:** Active compact nursing license

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in an 18+ bed telemetry/progressive care unit
- Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment
- Ability to pass BCA testing during the first week of the assignment

**Job Description:**
- Follow a 75-mile straight line/radius rule for location eligibility
- Provide patient care in a fast-paced and flexible team environment
- Float to different units as needed, including med/surg, ICU (for tele patients boarding in ICU), and ED (for admitted inpatients awaiting beds or as helping hands)
- Work weekends and holidays as required
- Travelers will be the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within a 20-mile radius
- Ratios may vary based on patient acuity, from 1:4 to 1:5/6
- Participate in the first week of orientation that includes EPIC EMR training (up to 40 hours)
- Wear required scrubs: white scrub top with sangria red, plum purple, hunter green, or black scrub pants
- No holiday time-off requests will be approved for travelers
- Prior employees of the healthcare system must have a 12-month gap from the last day worked to be eligible for this travel position
- EPIC EMR experience is preferred
