**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-hour nights

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of PCU experience

**License:** Active RN License required

**Certifications:**
- BLS (AHA Only) required
- ACLS (AHA Only) required

**Must-Have:**
- PCU experience with a minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical experience
- Compact RN license preferred
- Candidate must live outside a 100-mile radius of the facility

**Job Description:**

- Perform general nursing duties with required PCU procedures.
- Utilize equipment within the unit including the Cerner System transitioning to EPIC, and Omnicell automated medication cabinet.
- Work on a rotating schedule from Sunday through Saturday. On-call may be required.
- Will not work alone; will always be on the unit with other healthcare professionals.
- May float to MedSurg as needed.
- Provide care in a 20-bed step-down unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1.
- Adhere to a navy blue dress code.
- Participate in a day of onboarding with an Educator, followed by two days of on-the-unit training with an RN.
- Orientation sessions are held every other week.

Note: Guaranteed hours do not apply during the orientation period.
