**Job Description:**

- This position involves working in a cardiac transplant unit within a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
- The nurse will be expected to float between units and may be required to float to nearby sister facilities.
- On-call duties are not required, but weekends are mandatory on an every-other basis.
- Block scheduling is required.
- Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:3.
- Charting is performed using Epic software.
- Flu vaccine requirements are unknown.
- Modules for training, which are completed pre-start and annually, average around 16 hours. Time for modules is self-reported.
- Orientation includes 40 hours that are non-billable.
