**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** Night; 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3x12 Hr
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 per week
**Experience:** Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience required
**License:** RN License in good standing
**Certifications:**
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
**Must-Have:**
- Nursing experience in critical care or relevant specialty
**Job Description:**
- As a Registered Nurse, you will assume responsibility for a group of patients over a designated time frame, providing care through the nursing process and utilizing trends, technology, and resources in line with the institution's philosophy.
- Perform all responsibilities and duties required by the unit specific to the scope of service.
- Implement procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care to ensure information integration for use by the healthcare team.
- Complete initial assessments upon patient admission and develop appropriate plans of care according to unit standards and patient and family needs.
- Implement and modify plans of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures based on continuous evaluation.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting and/or correcting safety hazards and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with others, offering constructive feedback and collaborating with colleagues for professional development and knowledge expansion.
- Identify personal learning needs and take the initiative to find appropriate solutions.
- Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.
- Monitor patients continuously for seizure activity and ensure good communication with patients and families through meaningful hourly rounding and shift reports.
- Collaborate with the critical care team and hospitalists for advanced care patients.
