**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Telemetry with Peripheral IV start

**License:** DC RN Licensure (Pending accepted but MUST be obtained prior to start date)

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS

**Must-Have:** DC RN license, BLS, ACLS, Telemetry experience

**Job Description:**

- Work in a Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital environment with a total of 402 staffed beds.
- Provide nursing care for the Intermediate Care Unit with a patient-to-staff ratio of 1:4.
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.
- No on-call requirement but must work every other weekend.
- Responsibilities include starting Peripheral IVs and monitoring telemetry.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including receiving a mandatory Flu vaccine.
- Utilize Cerner for charting and patient documentation.
- Wear scrubs in any color, avoiding logos from other hospitals.
- Attend orientation for 28 hours prior to starting with 50% non-billable time.
- Complete pre-start modules which may vary by specialty.
