**Job Description:**
- RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; any call-offs or additional RTO could potentially lead to cancellation.
- Ratios: 1: 3-6, flex based on patient populations (PCU-Med/Surg). This position will handle Medical/Surgical up to PCU depending on needs.
- Shift: NIGHTS, 36 hours only; contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025, to cover the holiday period.
- Float Requirement: Assigned to a centralized resource nursing pool, covering multiple campuses.
- Will work across medical/surgical floors, PCUs, cardiac floors, rehab, PACU, and inpatient holding space for the ED.
- No floating to ICUs unless taking a stepdown or modified assignment with an ICU RN as primary.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
- Contract staff expected to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.
- Patient Diagnoses: Care for patients across medical surgical, cardiac, progressive care/step down, and stroke.
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Float pool units.
- Equipment: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
- Scheduling: Based on scheduling gaps
- Unit Orientation: 24 hours
- Scrub Color: Navy
- Interview Availability: Manager will conduct an interview before offering a position.
- Must pass EKG Testing before starting this specialty.
- Candidates may be required to care for patients with COVID.
- Floating based on skill sets and census; candidates must be comfortable with assigned floating without restrictions.
- Charting Experience: Epic required.
