**Must-Have:**
- Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring
- Experience in Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal
- Skills in accessing ports, blood product administration, central line/care management, PICC line management
- Cardiac drip-titrate for Diltiazem and Amiodarone, post cardiac cath experience
**Job Description:**
- Provide patient care in a unit that monitors cardiac patients.
- Administer cardiac drips such as Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc.
- Perform sheath pulls, TR Bands, and Femstop procedures.
- Adhere to patient ratios of 1:6-7.
- Participate in unit orientation for 24 hours.
- Comply with weekend requirements of 5-6 weekend shifts.
- Be prepared to work during catastrophic events or disasters.
- Utilize medication, documentation, and communication systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR.
- Mandatory passing of EKG testing prior to start.
- Opportunity for self-scheduling within the unit.
- Required to wear navy scrubs.
- Participate as part of the Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team, as needed.
- Floating between units may be required, including floating to affiliate hospitals.
- Expected to comply with fatigue policy, limiting work to no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours a week.
- Complete non-billable modules, varying by specialty, pre-start and annually.
Note: Any call-offs or additional time off on the unit could result in contract cancellation. No time off requests are allowed after booking or to be worked out on-site. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
