CABG, carotids, VATs, anything cardiovascular, STEMIs, sepsis and pressors, Covid, pneumonia, general surgical- sepsis, traumas, ventrics, cranis, bolts, DKA, OD, ETOH withdrawal, IABP, Impella, prismaflex, ventilators, arctic sun, ECMO RNs required to titrate drips: critical care drips, Vasopressors, heparin, lasix, antiarrhythmics Charge Nurse on each shift: Charge goes to codes, RRT, normally no assignment, maybe takes 1 patient if needed Tele/Monitor Techs: RNs required to read and interpret, no monitor techs, central monitor station Job Requirements Prefer experience with IABP, Impella, prismaflex, ventilators, arctic sun Must be willing open to PCU assignments/ratios Schedule Information Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a Weekend Requirements: Every other Holiday Requirements: Every other Floating Requirements: All areas as helping hands, To MS Tele for PCU patients, and MS for full patient assignment, some ER Holds/boarding Unit Specific Information Experience or 'Must have' skills # of Beds: 15 Nurse aids/patient care techs: none Hospitalist & Intensivist in house 24/7? In the ICU 24/7: Intensivist MD In house 24/7 MD RT in ICU 24/7: 1 assigned to ICU RT Equipment: RN to trouble shoot equipment Orientation: 2- 12 hour shifts Additional Notes: ICU PCU combined, ICU RN to take PCU patients frequently Additional Details Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
