Job Details

Position template for UofL Jewish Hospital includes roles for RN specialized in Transplant.
Number of openings for the position is 2.
Work schedule includes night shifts from 6:45pm to 7:15am with 36 hours guaranteed weekly.
Every 3rd weekend is required with no call requirements.
PCU experience is a must-have skill/experience.
Preferred skills include transplant experience and CVP monitoring.
Type of patients on unit include transplant recovery patients with mixed acuity and those requiring telemetry and peritoneal dialysis.
Personality fit emphasizes the ability to work well with others and to function at a high level with high acuity patients.
Job Requirements

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in PCU.
Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIH, and a KY License.
Schedule Information

Shifts are 6:45pm - 7:15am.
36 hours per week are guaranteed.
Staff must work every 3rd weekend.
Unit Specific Information

The unit involves a 28-bed capacity with patient ratios between 3-5:1.
Equipped with PCA, chest tubes, CVP, Levophed, Telemetry, epidurals, tracheostomy, and suctioning.
EMR used is Cerner.
