Travel Nurse Rn - Pcu - Progressive Care Unit - $2,945 Per Week

Job Details Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30). IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a bill rate bump per hour. IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. Job Requirements MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT. First Time Travelers Accepted. Skillset Requirements: Cardiac PCU, Drips, Post Cath Lab, IV Starts, and Sheath Pulls. Skillset Preferences: Conscious Sedation and Telemetry, 2 years of nursing experience required. Staffing Ratios: 1:4. Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals. Schedule Information Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12. Charge coverage: Based on operational needs; unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
