**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Pediatrics **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Rotating 3x12-Hour (Day/Night) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** 2 Years Required **License:** Valid RN License **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) Required **Must-Have:** - Active RN License - Experience in pediatric care - Comfortable floating within the hospital with no restrictions **Job Description:** - Pediatric Registered Nurse position on a specialized pediatric surgical floor. - The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4, with a total of 32 beds. - Preferred experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), prematurity care, Advanced Operative Procedure (AOP), Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BLD)/Chronic Lung Disease (CLD), cardiac defects, feeding issues, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS), and iatrogenic NAS. - Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital. - Required to have two satisfactory professional references; one from a supervisor or manager and one from a charge nurse. - Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exemptions. - Compliance documentation is due five days before the start date. - Return traveler policy mandates a six-month gap from previous travel assignments within the system. - Return staff must have a 12-month separation before returning as a traveler. **Note:** Candidates must reside over 50 miles away from the hospital location.
