Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: CA License in hand required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: Travel experience required Job Description: - Provide acute care for pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality medical attention and support. - Floating required within the general pediatric unit and other areas such as Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, NICU, and PICU based on census. - Every other weekend shifts are mandatory, comprising 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays for day shifts, and Fridays and Saturdays for night shifts. - No on-call requirements. - Documentation will be done using the EPIC system. - Pre-approved time off is at the discretion of the manager and must be included before submission. - Candidates are required to submit at least one reference within the past two years. - Completion of non-billable modules is necessary before the start, and hours for these modules vary by specialty. Note: Compliance with the flu vaccine requirement is mandatory, with medical or religious exemptions being the only exceptions. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
