**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required, specifically in post-operative cardiac and congenital cardiac ICU. **License:** Valid permanent California license required at the time of submission. Temporary licensure is not accepted. **Certifications:** Required: PALS and ACLS. Preferred: CCRN. **Must-Have:** - Experience in congenital cardiac ICU. - Skills: ICP, IV Start, Tele, and vents. - Epic charting experience is highly preferred. **Job Description:** - Provide care for pediatric ICU patients, including those with congenital cardiac conditions, neurosurgical needs, kidney transplants, trauma, and medical/surgical conditions. - Must be able to float to Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units. - Preferred skills include administering chemotherapy, charge experience, conscious sedation, and Level I Trauma. - Compliance with vaccination requirements, including COVID-19 and flu vaccines, without exemption. - Orientation comprises 12 non-billable hours. - Must be willing to work flexibly within the hospital as needed. - Previous permanent employees must have a 24-month gap before returning in a travel position. - No restrictions on location for applicants.
