Certification Details ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE – temp license will NOT be accepted PALS BLS Job Requirements 2 years + of Pediatric Critical Care Experience Required 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE - Two years of Pediatric Critical Care Experience Required Experience with critical care management of disease processes (respiratory illnesses, sepsis, DKA) Experience with pressure lines (primarily CVPs, arterial lines, some UAC/UVC) Experience managing ventilated patients (HFOV, VDR, Servo) Experience with drips (epi, nor-epi, milrinone, dopamine, precedex, etc.) Experience with complex trauma patients (EVDs, Codmans, neuro assessments) Experience with complex pediatric postop patients (congenital anomalies/craniofacial, tracheostomies, etc.) Schedule Information Shift Detail: NIGHTS Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift/Workdays: NIGHTS Weekend – Discuss during the interview Guaranteed Hours: 36 Unit Specific Information Documentation system: Meditech Procedures performed on unit: Foley insertions, trans-pyloric feeding tubes, dressing changes (wound and CVL), port access, etc. Patient Experience Required: Two years of management of pediatric critical care patients in high acuity setting. Additional Details Floating policy: As needed Dress Code: RN - Blue Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc. Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
