Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Preferred, not required for just ER placements) BLS - Basic Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure CHEMO - Chemotherapy TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (Preferred, not required) Tech Cert Verification - National Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (Required for ALL RNs except Case Managers) State License - Copy of Professional License (Required for all RRT) State License 1 Verification Job Details This is a PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED position. Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested. Job Requirements CA License First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity BLS PALS 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL) Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG. Schedule Information 3x12 variable or straight night shifts 4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights - traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule 13 week contracts Max 6 days of requested time off (Must still get 3 shifts in per week) Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays Unit Specific Information Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness Additional Details Valid photo ID is required. Traveler must present on the first day.
