Travel Nurse Rn - Psychiatric - $2,163 Per Week

Certification Details Certifications Required: BLS, CPI. Skills Required: Geriatric, Inpatient, Locked Unit, Medical/Psych, Substance use/Chemical Dependency, Medication Administration, Starting and maintaining IVs, Blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion/maintenance. Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. Cancelled shifts must be regular shift length assigned to contractor personnel. Special requirements: Experience with Epic, medical, and Psych required. Patient population: Adult Psychiatric and geriatric, some with co-morbid medical conditions requiring med-surg approach. Some patients may require pre-op prep for ECT. Duties include IV start, presence in Milieu, restraint application, and potential to work as charge nurse as needed. Job Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. First-time travelers accepted. Ratios: 1:6. Float within scope as needed to meet facility needs. Local candidates are not accepted. Licenses: Pending license accepted. RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days off. Schedule Information Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. On-call Requirement: No. Open to accommodating block schedule: No. Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. Unit Specific Information Patient population includes older adult and adult patients, some with medical comorbidities and mobility issues. Some diagnoses include dementia, depression, Parkinson's Disease, bipolar disorder, or anxiety.
