Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Radiology CWR Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 4x10 - 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care facility License: State Professional Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Experience in CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine/PET Job Description: - Deliver nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to provide and ensure safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care. - Responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs. - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients. - Perform assessments and therapeutic nursing interventions based on patient problems or needs, medical diagnoses, and functional health framework. - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models. - Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation. - Perform age and disease-specific assessment/data collection independently, focusing on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status. - Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. - Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age, disease, and culturally specific learning differences. - Will cover CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine/PET. - Availability for rotating on-call duties Monday-Thursday, every 7-8th weekend, and holidays as needed.
