The unit provides an effective, fast paced environment that allows you to connect with your patients and perfect your assessment skills. Our CDU is a 10 bed, 23-hour observation unit that is a direct extension of our ED. ED information: ratio 1:3 regularly, flexing to 1:4 if needed due to census. beds 43 ED beds can flex to 60 with hall beds. Level 3 trauma center.
