Travel Nurse Rn - Telemetry - $2,218 Per Week

Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details Tele RN 1.6180 position available in Freeport, Illinois for a 13-week contract. The role involves working in the Telemetry department, providing care to stroke, CHF, ACS, CAD, and post-heart cath patients, among others. Applicants are encouraged to have experience with Cath Lab post-recovery and stroke care. Familiarity with Meditech is considered a plus. Job Requirements A minimum of 2+ years of recent experience in a similar role. Must have experience with managing and administering drips. No requirement to titrate drips for RNs. Schedule Information 12 hour shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730), including every other weekend and holiday rotation. Scheduling flexibility is required to meet the needs of the facility. Unit Specific Information Telemetry unit staffing includes one charge nurse, with nurse aides assigned based on acuity. The unit is equipped with BiPAP and High Flow RT equipment. Floating requirements may include ICU, MS, ER, and managing ER boarders. Additional Details Charge nurse carries a patient assignment and there are nurse aides on the unit depending on acuity. Travelers must disclose any previous employment at any FHN Memorial location. Orientation includes two 12-hour department specific shifts.
