Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Job offers 1:5-6 nurse to patient ratios. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025. *36 Hours can be Offered 12 HR NIGHTS FLOATING IS REQUIRED AS NEEDED to similar units. REQUIRED Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per each 6 week schedule. Job Requirements Minimum Experience Required: 1 Year of Experience. Will take first time travelers: Unit WILL Accept 1st Time Travelers REQUIRED Skills: IV Start and Telemetry. Schedule Information Unit cannot promise a block schedule at any time. Will do their best to accommodate requests, but a block schedule is not guaranteed. Unit Specific Information Unit Details: CPPU is a 24 bed inpatient cardiac procedural unit. Average length of stay is 1.8-2.4 days. There is an ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) nurse available on the unit during peak. Additional Details PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Pre/Post Cath, Pre/Post PPM & AICD, Watchmen Procedures, Stress Tests, etc. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: CPPU is a 24 bed inpatient cardiac procedural unit. Average length of stay is 1.8-2.4 days. There is rapid patient turnover on the unit, daily.
