**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Telemetry - Cardiac **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 hours per week **Experience:** 1 year required; first-timers accepted **License:** Pending license accepted **Certifications:** ACLS, BCLS **Must-Have:** Willingness to float between like units as needed **Job Description:** - Work in a 32-bed cardiac telemetry unit caring for patients with various cardiac and medical needs. - Manage patients with arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, and those post cardiovascular procedures such as stent placement, pacemaker, and AICD implantations. - Assist post open-heart surgery patients in their recovery. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5-6 with CNA support. - Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation. - Complete modules pre-start and annually, with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts. - Collaborate effectively with a team in a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 571 staffed beds across both campuses. - Adhere to scrub color guidelines, avoiding reddish orange. - Be prepared to work 3 out of 5 major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. **Additional Notes:** - Candidates may be asked to float within the hospital or to a sister hospital nearby. - Requires a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting. - All travelers are expected to regularly float between various like units within their skill set.
