**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry **Job Specialty:** Telemetry **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 12-Hour Nights **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years **License:** Required **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS **Must-Have:** Comfortable speaking with cardiologists **Job Description:** - Position involves working in the PCU with a requirement to float to medical-surgical units. - Manage dual occupancy with an average daily census of 16-20. - Care for heavy cardiac patient load, including Day 2-3 CABG, chest pain, post-cath, COPD, CHF, high flow O2, pneumonia & BiPAP. - Monitor and manage conditions such as groin management, sheath management, and new onset a-fib. - Involvement in charge activities such as sheath removal. - Deal with post-cardioversion and arrhythmia management. - Work in an acute care setting within a doctor-managed facility opened in fall 2013. - Use of the EPIC charting system for patient data management. - Gain experience in a region known for its vibrant cultural and natural attractions, with opportunities to explore nearby museums, parks, and wineries. - Ability to function well in a doctor-managed hospital environment handling a variety of acute cardiac cases. - Participate in facility orientation for 12 hours of training. **Additional Information:** - Enjoy a culturally enriching location known as the Sandhill Crane capital of the world. - Opportunities for cultural engagement and exploration in the surrounding areas, including proximity to major cities.
