**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Telemetry **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 12-hour nights, every other weekend, with holidays **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry experience with Cardiac Monitoring **License:** Active RN license in Maryland or compact state **Certifications:** Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) **Must-Have:** - Cardiac Monitoring experience - Experience with Anti-arrhythmia infusions, Post-op open heart surgery, thoracotomy, Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), and ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) **Job Description:** - Perform cardiac monitoring and manage anti-arrhythmia infusions. - Care for patients post open heart surgery, thoracotomy, AMI/STEMI. - Utilize computerized charting and medication scanning systems. - Work in a 30-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6. - Potential to be pulled to medical-surgical areas if needed. - Adhere to the dress code of navy blue scrubs. - Participate in unit-specific training, including a test for cardiac monitoring and drug competency. - Complete a two-shift orientation on the floor.
