**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Cardiac Telemetry **Job Duration:** 13 weeks, with contracts up to March 15, 2025 **Shift:** Night Shift, 3 x 12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 1 year. First-time travelers accepted. **License:** NC or Compact License. Pending license is acceptable at the time of submission but must be in hand at the start time. **Certifications:** ACLS, BCLS **Must-Have:** - Skills in Telemetry, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias. - Experience with cardiac drips (Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Amiodarone, Lasix, Heparin). - Ability to work with telemetry monitoring, including managing chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, or defibrillator patients. **Job Description:** - Conduct telemetry monitoring for patients with cardiac conditions. - Administer and manage cardiac drips and medications as per protocols. - Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and provide cardiac care. - Work collaboratively with a heart failure navigator to optimize patient outcomes. - Maintain documentation and use unit systems such as Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR for patient management. - Participate in a floating requirement to other telemetry units as needed. - Adhere to a weekend requirement of 4 weekend days in a 6-week cycle. - Complete mandatory orientation and testing, including EKG Testing before starting. - Must be flexible with assignments and comfortable with floating as per unit requirements. - Required to work a minimum of 2 out of 3 major holidays, if necessary. - Comply with health and safety regulations, including required flu vaccinations (with medical/religious exemptions only).
