Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/05/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW, Holiday Rotation Length : 13 weeks Requirements: AZ RN License At least 1 year in PCU setting BLS ACLS Other details: Charting System - Cerner RNs required to titrate drips Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Insulin. Travelers must be comfortable managing the majority of these drips Patient Ratios: PCU 1:4 MedSurg Tele 1:5-6 Common diagnoses/Types of patients Geriatric patients, ortho patients, strong cath lab program so post procedural patients, caring for groin sites in stepdown unit. Post MI, post Cardiac Cath. CABG post-op day 3-4 Schedule is published 6 weeks out for 4 weeks at a time. Travelers will need to be flexible.
