Mandatory Emergency Staffing requirements Mandatory Overtime: During Personnel s assignment with Client, he or she is considered part of the unit and will be included as part of the rotation pool of staff (i.e., Client employees and Personnel) who are required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit. Float: Client may float or reassign Personnel to a different department, unit, or facility (within 30 miles of the Personnel s originally assigned facility) within the Personnel s clinical competence. Care to patients with Wound/Ostomy needs including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning and implementation. Provides consultation for individuals with altered skin integrity. Validates pressure ulcer data collection for nursing quality indicator. Marks the stoma site preoperatively. Other related duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s degree in Nursing, Master s preferred. Three (3) years of recent relevant nursing experience Graduation from an accredited wound and ostomy nursing education program Wound and Ostomy Certifications from an accredited institution. Must possess and maintain a current during employment license to practice nursing in the State of Connecticut. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
