Job Details Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist in Little Falls, MN.
Job involves treating patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings.
Focus on outpatient orthopedic upper extremity, lymphedema, inpatient total joint replacements, inpatient general medical, neurological impairments, outpatient mental health.
Will work with no COTA's, 1 rehab aide.
EMR used is Epic.
Professional casual dress code, scrubs allowed.
Job Requirements A minimum of 1-2 years of experience required, 3-4 years preferred.
Organized and possesses good communication skills.
Ability to collaborate and work independently with clinical skills and problem solving.
Must have teamwork skills and be skilled in physical agent modality use/application.
Familiarity with DME use/adaptive equipment and ability to fabricate/modify splints for upper extremity/therapeutic management.
Must be able to perform wheelchair evaluations.
Schedule Information Shifts run Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Self-scheduling or block scheduling is not allowed.
No weekend requirements.
No holiday requirements.
Unit Specific Information Common diagnoses and types of patients include outpatient orthopedic upper extremity, lymphedema, inpatient total joint replacements, inpatient general medical, neurological impairments, outpatient mental health.
The unit requires organizational skills, good communication, and collaborative and independent problem-solving skills.
One shift of unit/department specific orientation provided, but flexible.
Additional Details BLS certification required; MN License required.
NBCOT is preferred but not required.
No clinical involvement.
The facility requires that candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
All time-off needs must be presented upfront with a maximum of 7 days off per 13-week contract.
Additional time-off will not be approved after submissions.
