**Job Title:** Occupational Therapist

**Job Specialty:** Skilled Nursing Facility

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)

**Experience:** 1 year of skilled nursing experience required

**License:** Must have a valid license at the time of signature

**Certifications:** BLS required

**Must-Have:** Reliable transportation, no holiday time off

**Job Description:**

- Work in a transitional care setting as an Occupational Therapist
- Provide therapy for conditions such as arthritis, CVA rehabilitation, dementia/Alzheimer's, TBI, upper extremity recovery
- Perform activities of daily living (ADLs) training, including adaptive equipment and community re-entry
- Develop and implement plans of care, assessments, evaluations, and discharge planning
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:6-8
- Use Epic for charting
- Follow Mon-Fri schedule; no weekend shifts required
- No on-call duties
- Floating between like units is not required
- Basic color scrubs as attire

Special Requirements:

- Must be open to accommodation and travel pairs must have their own transportation
- No holiday time off allowed; otherwise, confirm time off with the hiring manager
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities if required

Additional Details:

- Modules are to be completed pre-start and annually
- Orientation includes 40 hours of non-billable training
