**Job Description:**
- Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs to help rehabilitate those impaired due to illness, injury, or psychological or developmental problems.
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence for persons with disabilities or developmental delays.
- Complete and document patient evaluations and tests per established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update the patient's Plan of Care (POC) based on the data, identified problems, and diagnosis from the exam.
- Assess, provide, and progress treatment for patients per the plan of care per established standards.
- Coordinate patient care effectively and efficiently with other care providers and support team members.
- Provide clinical supervision to assistants and/or aides and serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
- Complete all documentation related to charge capture per established standards.
- Perform general clerical tasks, such as answering phones, updating patient appointments, and managing electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality of all patients' Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Prepare, administer, and document services in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Engage in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe working environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each use.
- Retain certification and complete continuing education requirements to meet facility and regulatory agencies' accreditation and licensure requirements.
- Demonstrate effective and efficient professional communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork, customer service, and community relations abilities.
