- Graduate of an accredited program of Occupational Therapy
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Intranet
- Ability to learn computer software programs like Cerner Millennium, Policy Manager, OneSource, HPF, One Content, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills for problem-solving and prioritizing workload
- Proficiency in English
**Job Description:**
- Responsible for evaluating patients referred for occupational therapy, developing a plan of care, and administering treatments.
- Interact with various hospital departments and medical staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and conduct business ethically and lawfully.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants, rehab aides, and other support staff as required by state law.
- Provide care across different age groups, including neonate to geriatric patients.
- Conduct annual and introductory evaluations.
- Demonstrate teamwork and customer service to support the mission and vision of the healthcare organization.
- Exhibit professionalism, manage resources, and maintain flexible and positive communication.
- Administer direct patient care, including evaluations, tests, and interventions, using evidence-based practices.
- Document patient care accurately and legibly.
- Practice safe occupational therapy techniques and ensure the safety of patients and self.
- Participate in professional development and maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance.
- Engage in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Participate in committees and department meetings to facilitate communication and problem-solving.
