**Job Description:**
- As part of a vibrant team, participate in providing client-related therapy services to help restore or improve independent function in daily activities.
- Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, applying appropriate goals and interventions to resolve identified problems.
- Deliver occupational therapy services according to physician orders and regulations.
- Notify physicians timely about changes in client status and obtain updated physician orders as necessary.
- Identify and implement necessary modifications to equipment/environment to suit client needs.
- Offer teaching and instruction to clients/caregivers to promote physical and emotional health.
- Attend required staff meetings and case conferences.
- Communicate effectively and timely with other healthcare team members to coordinate services.
- Maintain caseload and agency productivity standards.
- Respond promptly to referrals for occupational therapy and document care according to agency standards.
- Protect client self-esteem, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Ensure awareness of client rights and responsibilities.
- Initiate emergency procedures as appropriate.
- Adhere to agency, professional, and regulatory guidelines for clinical and administrative documentation.
- Perform additional duties within the scope of practice as assigned by the Senior Director of Clinical Operations.
- May require extended work schedules as needed.
- Utilize established lines of authority and communication effectively.
- Maintain clear and open lines of communication with all staff.
