**Job Description:**
- Assess clients/consumers' physical capacities, developmental, and/or psychosocial functions using standardized and non-standardized assessment tools.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement occupational therapy group or individual treatment plans.
- Determine appropriate therapy techniques and sequence; coordinate treatment plans with other programs for overall client/consumer benefit.
- Provide consultation with clients/consumers and other health care professionals regarding progress and recommendations for treatment.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and controlling occupational therapy services, policies, and procedures as an interdisciplinary team member.
- Assess and locate suitable adaptive equipment for clients/consumers.
- Document evaluations, observations, and assessments of client/consumer performance.
- Record treatment plans and revisions; requisition supplies and equipment while maintaining records.
- Stay current with occupational therapy knowledge through reading, in-service training, and mandated training.
- Attend staff meetings.
This position requires a dedicated individual to work with clients/consumers in achieving improved physical and psychosocial well-being through effective occupational therapy practices.
