**Job Description:**

- Treat 6-8 patients per day, dependent on department caseload.
- Work alongside a team including 3 Physical Therapists, 1 Physical Therapist Assistant, 1 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, 1 Occupational Therapist & 1 Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Common diagnoses and types of patients include post-surgical, orthopedics (e.g., total joints- knees & hips, ORIF), neurologic (e.g., post-stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis), sports medicine, and complex medical cases.
- Provide therapy in diverse settings: outpatient, inpatient-swing bed, assisted living, and long-term care/skilled nursing.
- Primarily work in long-term care/skilled nursing, with less than 10% of time in an outpatient setting.
- Experience with long-term recovery therapy and LTC/skilled nursing is preferred.
- No self-scheduling; schedule created by the Director of Rehabilitation and Office Assistant; shifts are 5 days per week with flexible start times between 0700-0900.
- Occasional weekend work required, but rare. No holiday requirements.
- May float between hospital and two nursing homes, with drive time compensated.
- Wear any color scrubs or business casual attire.
- Department-specific orientation provided by the Director of Rehabilitation, typically lasting one week, with full patient load expected by week two.
- Expected productivity is 75%.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system.
