**Job Description:**
- Implement patient rehabilitation programs to enhance mobility, function, and strength.
- Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.
- Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up.
- Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding patient care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Be responsible for accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up regarding prescriptions, test results, and authorizations.
- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with front office staff for scheduling and patient follow-up.
- Possess computer skills necessary for job requirements, including typing, word processing, internet usage, and EMR.
- Make independent decisions regarding patient care.
- Participate in business marketing and referral processes when necessary.
- Adhere to HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with PT billing processes, including Medicare, work-comp, private, auto, liens, and cash pay.
- Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing services.
- Maintain physical mobility, ability to lift 50 pounds, assist with moving patients, and support patients with mobility restraints.
- Protect patient privacy in accordance with company policies, federal and state laws, and professional standards.
- Report any concerns regarding patient privacy policies without fear of retaliation.
- Participate in company privacy training and communicate privacy policy information as necessary.
- Comply with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Engage with continuing education courses preferred.
