Craig offers many opportunities for local outdoor recreation, camping, rafting, paddle boarding, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, etc.We provide L4 ED care, inpatient care, diagnostic imaging, surgery, laboratory, special care unit, cardiopulmonary, oncology and chemotherapy services and more.SHIFT: Days, 40 hours guaranteedCERTS: BLS,o Active Colorado Physical Therapy License or compact license.EMR: EPICHOUSING: Leads uploaded into our Medefis account under 'facility group documents'JOB DESCRIPTION: Physical Therapist with competency with outpatient orthopedics is required, some subacute inpatient coverage as needed.MRH Rehab is looking for a full-time outpatient physical therapist who values patient care, team collaboration and has a growth mindset. We offer 45 minute one-on-one treatments, 1 hour evaluations and paid documentation time in a fun and professional environment. Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities. Restore, maintain, and promote not only optimal physical function but optimal wellness and fitness and optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and health. Prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries Recommend use of assistive devices and provide gait training, as deemed necessary Completes discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences. Documents patient care services via EMR charting using defensible documentation in a timely and concise manner, in compliance with industry standards. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Develops rehab and hospital staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs. Complies with federal, state, and local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Strives to: promote health, create a safe and effective treatment environment, motivate others, have a good bedside manner, listen, analyze information, be quality focused. Participates in ongoing professional development to maintain a level of clinical practice consistent with best practice standards. This includes seeking opportunities to gain new knowledge and skills and utilizing these newly acquired skills in the provision of care and for growth and development of the department and hospital. Critically assesses self to improve clinical and professional performance. Advocates for the physical therapy profession. Performs other duties as assigned. School-based physical therapists (in addition to above expectations): Collaborate with the school-based team to help determine and carryout Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); identify a student s annual goals and determine the services, supports, modifications, and accommodations that are required for the student to achieve them. Home health physical therapists (in addition to above expectations): Provide in-home physical therapy services to homebound patients and work in collaboration with the home health interdisciplinary team. Organization Wide Performance Expectations: Demonstrates commitment to performing according to the CHOICE values of MRH and representing the organization in a positive and professional manner. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Upholds regulatory requirements to ensure continual compliance with departmental, hospital, state and federal regulations and policies. Follows all policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients, public and staff. Completes annual education, training, in-service, and licensure/certification requirements; attends departmental and organizational staff meetings or reads meeting minutes. Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work within designated timeframes. Establishes and maintains effective verbal and written communication and good working relationships with all patients, staff and vendors. Utilizes initiative; strives to maintain steady level of productivity; self-motivated; manages activity and time. Actively participates in departmental and facility performance improvement and continuous quality initiatives. QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions) Must be able to legally work in the United States Must be able to pass a background check Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable) Must complete employee health meeting Education/Licensure/Certification: Active Colorado Physical Therapy License (DORA) Current CPR(BLS) certification (within 90 days of hire per MRH Policy) Experience: New graduates welcome to apply.
