Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Specialty: PT Acute Care Hospital

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)

Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per two weeks

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience

License: AK PT License (Pending license accepted)

Certifications: BLS

Must-Have: Acute Care/Outpatient Experience

Job Description:
- Perform physical therapy in a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital with 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds.
- Work with patients of all ages and diagnoses, including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialties.
- Provide therapy to outpatients, inpatients, and SNF patients.
- Utilize Epic for charting and patient record management.
- Participate in a flexible schedule accommodating the needs of the facility.
- Be open to block scheduling when possible.
- Be willing to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Commit to a 13-week assignment with the expectation to float to meet facility needs if required.
- Maintain professionalism with business casual or any scrub color attire.

**Additional Information:**
- Facility provides housing and a rental vehicle for the duration of the assignment.
- Housing units are available for move-in 72 hours before the contract begins and must be vacated 24 hours after the contract ends.
- Pets are not allowed in housing units.
- Vehicle provided is for local use and should not exceed a 30-mile radius from the facility.
- Compliance with facility protocols for the return of housing and vehicle is required.

**Vaccination Requirements:**
- COVID-19 vaccine is required with medical/religious exemptions allowed.
- Facility does not accept Hep B titers or declination, only documented vaccines.
