**Job Title:** Physical Therapist **Job Specialty:** Therapy **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 08:00 - 17:00, Monday-Friday (flexible scheduling available) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of recent experience, preferably in a hospital setting **License:** Valid state licensure required for practice **Certifications:** Must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association **Must-Have:** - 2 years of recent physical therapy experience - Valid state physical therapy license - BLS certification **Job Description:** - Diagnose and treat individuals of all ages with medical or health-related conditions impacting their abilities to move and perform functional activities. - Develop treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. - Work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility by creating fitness- and wellness-oriented programs. - Provide care in various settings, including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes. - Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. - Educate patients about injury prevention, ergonomics, and restorative and rehabilitation therapy. - Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatments. - Work primarily in one location but may be required to work in another facility as needed. - Fulfill one Saturday per month weekend requirement.
