Travel Physical Therapist (Pt) In Laredo, Tx

**Job Title:** Physical Therapist

**Shift:** Day - 3x12 - 7 AM - 7 PM (36 Hours per week)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 per week
**Experience:** One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
**License:** Texas State Physical Therapy License
**Certifications:** Current BLS certification required
**Must-Have:** DPT (Doctorate) degree from an accredited college or university in Physical Therapy

**Job Description:**

- Perform physical therapy assessments upon receiving physician's orders.
- Provide written evaluation and plan of care to the physician.
- Reassess patients monthly to update plan of care.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and other support staff.
- Continuously improve physical therapy knowledge and skills.
- Conduct adequate wound care assessments and treatment as per physician orders.
- Evaluate and treat patients in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings.
- Display the ability to serve as a lead worker to subordinate personnel and assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the director.
- Work independently and maintain a positive, courteous attitude.
- Maintain current required certifications and licenses successfully.
